I have many Logitech mice, and I have installed the gaming software and planned to keep it that way. But I plug in my MX master mouse into my PC and all of a sudden I have Logitech download assistant in my list of start up applications! Of course I'm disabling it, but I do not want it here in the first place! I have yet to find a way to uninstall it because it doesn't show up in any list of applications. I'm confused on how just plugging in this mouse would install this bloatware on my PC without any way of deleting it. Why? Is there any official ways of getting rid of it entirely? (without having to download more unnecessary programs)

Logitech download assistant is a software for installing and managing drivers and updates for Logitech devices. It works both on Windows 10 and Windows 11 and you can find it in the startup tab inside the Task Manger. The software automatically checks for new updates if you have a Logitech device connected.
When you disable the Logitech download assistant, you will not lose any functionality. No Logitech device needs it to operate properly. The software updates notifications will probably stop after you remove the software.
is there a way to block only the update connection?Block the update address or something.I dont want to block all internet access from my hub .I use it from my openhab but i use it from my google assistant too.
