The FIFA International Match Calendar (sometimes abbreviated as the FIFA Calendar) is an outline agreement between FIFA, the six continental football confederations, the European Club Association, and FIFPro,[1] which sets out which dates can be used for "official" and "friendly" international matches. Individual periods of these dates are commonly referred to as "international breaks".

The current dates are within five windows: in March, May or June, August or September, October, and November. The match calendar also determines when international competitions such as the AFC Asian Cup, Africa Cup of Nations, Copa Amrica, CONCACAF Gold Cup, OFC Nations Cup, UEFA European Championship, FIFA World Cup and the Summer Olympics can take place.

Official matches have a release period of four days, which means that players can take up to four days away from club duties to partake in national team duties. If a player participates in an official match on a different continent from his or her club's, the release period is five days. Friendly matches are deemed less important and the release period is 48 hours.[2]

Quick Update - found the problem and the solution. With Windows 11, Windows Defender now adds Folder Protection and as a result, blocks most Gaming Clients Documents Folder Access, which is necessary for them to work.

So, in order to resolve this issue, you simply need to disable this setting or add Origin.exe and Fifa.exe as an exception - the same for other gaming clients.

how did you do it? I am having same problem. I have Windows 11 and just got FIFA22 2 days back. The game starts, as i select the language in game, the game immediately crashes. Done every tweak I found online including turning off this CONTROLLED ACCESS but did not work. I bought the game via steam.

Rolling back of drivers is done when the driver is updated. I have bought a new Dell Inspiron 3542 (for which the driver isnt updated, since it might be up to date) and facing the same problem too. Someone please help us! :-(

i also had the same problem i am using dell vostro . the solution was uninstalling all the WINDOWS updates..no need ro reinstall the game.. if possible try performing a factory restore and after that is done turn windows updates off ..dont let windows perform any update.. i m not sure which specific update caused this problem ..i removed all the windows updates and the keyboardin fifa15 started working perfectly fine

After play F1FA (keyboard only mode), my ThinkPad's Space, Enter, and Backspace not working anymore... I buy a new keyboard to replace it, working well for 2 days?!? Day 3 my ThinkPad didn't power on, try to put the old keyboard again, it power on but Space, Enter, and Backspace still not working?!?

Enter F1FA with a USB keyboard, play the match with a ThinkPad keyboard until feeling the Space for shoot working, change keyboard-only mode to keyboard & mouse mode and the genius problem will solve!

Just two FIFA international windows remain on the year and the next one is upon us, running from October 9-17. (Atlanta United does not have any matches during this window and has just one more regular season match on Decision Day on October 21 at FC Cincinnati). Last week, national teams began announcing their rosters and several Atlanta United players are being called up to play for their home countries.

Miles Robinson is back with the U.S. men's national team after joining the USMNT earlier this summer for the Concacaf Nations League and Gold Cup tournaments. Now, the Atlanta United center back dons red, white and blue for two international friendlies against historic opponents. The matches will be played on U.S. soil and broadcast nationally on TNT.

The first active MLS player to win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar returns for La Albiceleste. Thiago Almada made his debut against Honduras in September of 2022, and during the international break in March he scored his first goal. He'll join Argentina for two World Cup qualifiers.

The first Georgian-born soccer player in MLS gets his second international call up as a member of the 5-Stripes. Saba Lobjanidze was included on the roster for the Georgia men's national team for one friendly and one UEFA Euro qualifying match this cycle.

Atlanta United's striker, who's now four goals back in the race for the Golden Boot, will take his scoring prowess abroad. Giorgos Giakoumakis joins his home country of Greece for a pair of UEFA Euro qualifying matches, including a big one against Netherlands, a team that made it to the quarterfinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Defender Luis Abram has been called up by Peru men's national team coach Juan Reynoso for two World Cup Qualifying matches. This window, Abram faces his club teammate as Peru will have a big test against the World Cup champions, Thiago Almada and Argentina.

Caleb Wiley was called up by U.S. Olympic men's soccer team head coach Marko Mitrović as the group prepares to return to the Olympic Games for the first time since 2008. The U.S. team faces Mexico and Japan at Phoenix Rising Stadium in Phoenix, Ariz.

Sebastin Guerra of Atlanta United 2 has been named to the Colombia men's U-23 youth national team roster. He will represent his country in the 2023 Pan American games that take place October 20-November 5 in Santiago, Chile.

Due to player safety and logistics, this window will allow for limited activity and only for teams to round out their roster. For example, trades among MLS teams will not be permitted during this window. International transfers are only permitted if the acquired player has his work authorization in the USA or Canada, and is already located within the USA or Canada or he is able to travel without restrictions. Signings of Designated Players or signings using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) for participation in the MLS is Back Tournament are also not allowed.

Players who will officially be activated during this two-day window for participation in the MLS is Back Tournament include: Braian Galvan (signed by Colorado Rapids on Jan. 16), Franco Jara (signed by FC Dallas on Jan. 21), Andy Najar (signed by LAFC on June 17) and Collen Warner (signed by the Colorado Rapids on June 30).

This window (Aug. 12-Oct. 29) will kick off the day after the MLS is Back Tournament final and operate in a similar fashion to windows in previous seasons, including transfers, trades and other player signings.

Helo guys I need help I have bought a new HP Laptop 15-ra0101ni with Intel celeron processor N3060 (1.6Ghz) [2 ] [24 ] buh it doesn't play fifa please help me I have installed all the necessarily software for fifa to play but it doesn't work it just show the fifa Emblem after launching it then it dissappear without playing

Without more info on the version of FIFA you are trying to play, I can't give you an accurate answer. However it is likely that you are trying to play a version that your system cannot handle. You should be able to play FIFA 9 with no problems and possibly FIFA 10 (though it might give you some issues) but any of the newer versions of FIFA will not run on your computers specifications.

Set aside the tactics. Throw out the training sessions. No matter how they prepared for the match, nothing was going to change the fact that the Seattle Sounders were dealt a brutal hand ahead of their 2-0 loss at the Colorado Rapids last weekend.

For teams in the middle of high-stakes playoff chases, missing top players due to national team duty is a difficult pill to swallow. And for a league that is still striving to consistently put a quality product on the field, MLS continuing to play through FIFA windows is counterproductive. It makes games worse and lowers the integrity of the competition, particularly when considering the extra importance MLS put on each regular season match by changing its playoff format last winter.

The first edition of the Women's Club World Cup has been proposed to start during January-February 2026, with the 16-team tournament to be held every four years, world football governing body FIFA said on Wednesday.

The Women's Club World Cup would likely allow top European teams from the UEFA Women's Champions League to face clubs from the United States' National Women's Soccer League, as well as sides from countries where the women's game is less developed. Infantino has publicly touted the idea of a global women's competition for years.

There is not yet a competition structure, qualification pathways, or a 2026 host set for the competition. FIFA also announced on Wednesday that there will be a second global women's club competition played on an annual basis between the quadrennial Women's Club World Cup. The secondary competition would be focused on stimulating development for clubs in other parts of the globe.

"The Women's International Match Calendar and the subsequent amendments to our regulations represent an important milestone in our pledge to take the women's game to the next level by enhancing competitiveness across the world," Infantino said.

Global stakeholders anxiously awaited FIFA's decision about overhauls to the match calendar. The power struggle between professional clubs and national teams hit a tipping point last year ahead of the World Cup, when clubs in North America and Europe each, at different points, threatened to not release players for World Cup preparations outside of FIFA windows. The parties eventually compromised, but the issue remained.
