The Meditator's Middle Way: Pith Advice on Emptiness Meditation
Tuesday Evenings: April 17th to May 22nd, 7:15-9:00pm
The Middle Way is considered the most profound philosophy in the
Buddhist tradition. Throughout the ages, Buddhist meditation masters
and saints have stressed the importance of studying the Middle Way, or
Madhyamaka, as a basis for spiritual practice, and in particular, as a
prerequisite for advanced forms of meditation like Mahamudra and
Dzogchen. In this class, Khen Rinpoche will explain the Middle Way
from the standpoint of meditation, offering a series of pith
instructions that are designed to guide the meditator to a profound
experience of emptiness. This class is open to all.
