Dear Team member,

Good Morning!

I wanted to bring everyone upto speed on what is going on and who is doing what at this time. Flash cards are being made currently and we have 5 active members doing it right now.

Hindi :      Pankaj Gupta (Wild and Domestic Animals)

              Swathi Sreenivas (swar, Vyanjan, Action Words, Fruits)

Gujarati :  Sushma Koyawala (Fruits and Vegetables)

Telugu  :  Swathi Thumnapalli (Telugu Flashcards)

Kaviji is working on helping creating a website for us wherein parents / teachers / students can just login and be able to access the various language lessons.

Here is a list of what still needs to be done: (I can say for Hindi)

Colors

Indian Currency

Flowers

Opposites

Numbers

Transportation

Day of the Week

These are for Level 1, 2 & 3. I am waiting on feedback from teachers from Level 4,  & 6 and once I get their confirmation I shall let you know.Since we have so many teachers in Hindi who shall be deciding on what needs to be done, I shall be the point of contact (for now) between the teachers and the creative group so as to avoid confusion / chaos.

In future, we will need to get material ready for helping teach Grammar (Adjective, Noun, verb, forming sentences, etc.)

I humbly request you to create the flash cards in such a way that the other language volunteers be able to use the pics. All they will need to do is translate. That way any subject chart (fruit / vegetable, etc) will have to be worked upon once - for the images. Once you are done kindly send it to the concerned language co-ordinator for final corrections and the final draft be kindly mailed to me for printing / laminating and to Gurukul Creative group for translating into various languages.

The other team members who are interested in helping out, may pick and choose what they would like to help out with. All I request is that kindly let us know so that 2 people don't end up working on the same thing.
