License Issue (after installing windows october)

Hi,

Since November I have an issue with the gurobi license. I´ve updated Windows 10 (october version - 1809). I was one of the users who lose all the information. I had the gurobi license running with no issues. After that, I had to reinstall almost all software, when I ran gurobi on Anaconda I got this:

Error code 10009: License expired 2018-09-26 - license file 'C:\Users\fhern\gurobi.lic'

It recognizes the aolder license not the new one that I requested on 09/2018.

 When I try to re install the license I got this:

info  : grbgetkey version 8.1.0, build v8.1.0rc1
info  : Contacting Gurobi key server...
error : ERROR 402: License 197050 already issued to user 'fhern' for host 'DRFERNANDO'

C:\Users\fhern>

Someone could help me. I´ve been trying for a few months to find the solution out by myself. I give up.

Hi Fernando,

Do you have multiple Gurobi license files on your computer? Please remove all but the latest one and place this somewhere Gurobi can find it.

Thanks for your response,

It seems that there is no other license. I removed the expired license, and try to find the newer one.

It seems that the problem that I had with the Windows update, erased the license issued on September 2018. I tried to re-install (retrieve) the license from the site ("license manager") and run the grbgetkey command I got the error 402.


 ERROR 402: License 197050 already issued to user 'fhern' for host 'DRFERNANDO'
