If this is just Linux on x86, then Gurobi should run on such a Cray system.

Hi Chivalry,

I am also a NERSC user (and a student) and I'm trying to get Gurobi to work on the NERSC computers. The NERSC domain name is obviously not recognised as an academic institution. Does NERSC have Gurobi licenses or did you somehow connect to a VPN academic server from a NERSC computer before installing Gurobi?

Your advise would be much appreciated.

Hi Oliver,

For our free academic licenses please see http://www.gurobi.com/academia/for-universities

Hi Kostja,

I have a free academic license from my home university which is different from the supercomputer I have access to NERSC, which is not registered as an academic institution. The error message I get is:
ERROR 303: hostname edison04-eth5.nersc.gov (128.55.203.24) not recognized as belonging to an academic domain

Hence an answer from chivalry would be handy.

Oliver
