libgurobi70.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hi,

I am having troubling installing Gurobi.

I have deleted past versions, followed the documentation, and opened a new console window.

When I run gurobi.sh in the bin directory I get the following error:

libgurobi70.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Indeed, the file does not exist in the lib directory: there is only the libgurobi.so.7.0.2 file.

I am doing something wrong?

Hi,

Did you set the environment variables as explained here: http://www.gurobi.com/documentation/7.0/quickstart_linux/software_installation_guid.html

If you did this, then I guess your installation got somehow corrupted. Can you delete it, download Gurobi 7.0.2 from our website again and try to install it again?

Dear Sonja,

I have 7.0.2 installed,  when I run some code compiled with GUrobi 6.5.2, it showed the error mentioned in the thread:

error while loading shared libraries: libgurobi65.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Is it possible to run multiple version of Gurobi? Because, it seems that 6.5.2 performed better on my inputs than 7.0.2

 I am able to run multiple versions by an update of LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to all necessary folders
