Executable Gurobi

Dear Gurobi community,

We're working on several optimization problems with applications in statistical problems. Thanks to all your work, we're actively using Gurobi as prime MIP solver. In statistical community, the inclination is to rely on open-source packages (e.g., R) and it's essential to make the code publicly available. As a result, a question brought to our attention that whether or not we can make our python code - which uses Gurobi as a solver- executable. The goal is that everybody can run our code without having Gurobi installed in his computer. Could you please let me know if it is possible to make an executable file such that everybody can run our code without the need to have Gurobi installed on his local computer?.

Any academic would be able to run your code if you distribute it, they will only need to get a free Gurobi academic licence....

Just to be sure: whoever wants to run your code still needs to install Gurobi on their
machine. But since it is free for academic use, I don't see any issue with it. They also
install Python, R, and whatever other software they might need.
