About the Role



We are looking for a highly experienced Market & User Researcher to join our team. As a Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market and user research, providing valuable insights into the gaming landscape and user preferences in the US region.

Your work will be crucial in formulating successful publishing strategies and optimizing our games for the American market. Conduct comprehensive market and user research on the gaming industry in the United States, including analysis of competitor products across PC, console, and mobile platforms.

Identify key user groups and understand regional user characteristics, game themes, and aesthetic preferences through qualitative research methods. Continuously accumulate regional insights and propose research topics, providing valuable suggestions for exploring business opportunities and optimizing game-related activities.

Offer research-based suggestions for optimizing, iterating, and polishing games to align with the preferences of the American audience. Independently plan, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research projects, including communication with suppliers and the implementation of research methods. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other research resources to conduct full case studies and execute local research effectively.



Requirements:



Minimum of 5 years of experience in market and user research, with a strong understanding of various first-hand research methods and the utilization of third-party databases.



A bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, sociology, marketing, economics, international trade, or related fields will be beneficial.



Proficient in conducting qualitative research and comfortable engaging directly with users in both local and overseas markets.



Extensive knowledge of the overseas entertainment and gaming market, including PC, console, and mobile games, as well as a deep understanding of the regional macro environment and user characteristics.



Cross-cultural research experience is highly valued, and previous work experience in game companies or professional market research firms is a plus.



Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including PPT and Excel, is essential. Knowledge of statistical software like SPSS, SAS, or Tableau is preferred.



Strong learning ability, excellent communication skills, self-driven, and a team player with good self-management and execution abilities.



Open-minded, innovative, and capable of multitasking, with the ability to embrace challenges and find solutions.
