The Director's Cut add-on for Borderlands 3 introduced a new progression system with endless rewards: Vault Cards. Each of the three included Vault Cards offers unique Legendary gear, tons of new cosmetic items, and an all-new in-game resource: Diamond Keys. Here's a quick guide to the details on Vault Cards and Diamond Keys, along with how they can earn you some awesome loot!

There are a lot of layers to Vault Cards, but the premise is simple: playing the game with a Vault Card active gives you more loot and XP. To access them, you'll need to own the Director's Cut add-on, which is available for individual purchase or as part of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or Season Pass 2.

Each of the three Vault Cards is built around a distinct theme, and you can choose which one is active while you play. Once activated, you'll see an additional progression bar on your HUD sitting just below your Vault Hunter's regular XP bar. Filling up your Vault Card progression bar works just like leveling up: it's all driven by how much XP you're gaining. By exploring the galaxy, wiping out baddies, and completing quests, you'll fill up your Vault Card progression bar in addition to your regular XP bar!

There are also new Daily and Weekly Challenges that'll give you an XP boost for both your Vault Card bar and your regular XP bar. They're all managed via a new tab in your ECHO Device, with three Daily Challenges and one multi-tiered Weekly Challenge to chase after.

Vault Cards pull from a pool of over 100 unique challenges, so you never know what you're going to get. Daily Challenges refresh every day at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM UTC, and Weekly Challenges refresh on Thursdays at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM UTC. Note that Daily and Weekly Challenges will be replaced at these times whether or not you've completed them, so if you see something that strikes your fancy, make sure you jump on it ASAP!

So, you've activated a Vault Card and you've been diligently completing Challenges; how do you get its unique rewards? Enter Vault Card Chests. Each time you fill that bar and 'level up' your Vault Card, you'll score a Vault Card Chest unique to that Card.

Vault Card Keys let you unlock the Legendary gear and cosmetics from the associated Vault Card. The gear scales to your character's current level, and you can preview the complete collection of loot via your ECHO Device. These items can be unlocked in any order you want, so you can get the loot you desire pronto.

To use your Diamond Keys, visit the Diamond Armory, a new room located beneath the Bridge on Sanctuary III's upper deck. This room contains the alluring Diamond Chest with "Choose Wisely" inscribed on its front. On three nearby walls, you'll see neon symbols for Shields, Weapons, and Grenades. Activate the Diamond Chest with a single-use Diamond Key, and the shutters on those three walls will snap open, revealing a trove of exceptional items.

Once you've made your selections (or the timer runs out), the shutters slam shut, taking all those other lovely loot options with them. If you got so transfixed by one wall that you forgot about the others, you won't leave empty-handed; you'll receive a random item from the wall when time's up.

The fun's not over even when all the shutters are closed, as the Diamond Chest in the center of the room will power up to produce one last piece of gear that's guaranteed to be Legendary. So, to recap: each time you open the Diamond Chest, you get four items total, including at least one Legendary. With any luck, you'll score the kind of loot all Vault Hunters dream of.

Fallen Heroes offers items that pay tribute to some of the most beloved, gone-but-not-forgotten allies from throughout the Borderlands series. Here's a full rundown of the rewards you can earn within:

Vault Card 2's theme celebrates all the would-be Vault Hunters and nave entrepreneurs who dared to brave this perilous planet seeking some combination of adventure, riches, killer loot, and gory glory. Fans of Tales from the Borderlands will particularly love the four new Vault Hunter Heads included in Vault Card 2, and you can even snag yourself an adorable Gortys skin for your ECHO Device!

There are 28 unique rewards to be unlocked in Vault Card 3, with the full item breakdown below. If you've scored all the cosmetic and gear rewards, you can still earn endless Eridium and maybe even some of those coveted Diamond Keys!

No, but each Vault Card will present three Daily Challenges, so when all three Vault Cards are available, you can complete up to nine Daily Challenges each day! Similarly, each Vault Card has its own Weekly Challenge, so you can complete a maximum of three each week. Note that you can only progress Challenges on the Vault Card you have active, so make sure you've activated the right one.

Currently there are no plans to allow on-demand rerolling of Daily or Weekly Challenges, regardless of whether or not they've been completed. New Challenges will populate in your Vault Cards every day at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM UTC for Daily Challenges, and Thursdays at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM UTC for Weekly Challenges.

All you completionists should strive to collect all the items on each Vault Card, but Vault Cards will never technically be "completed" because they have no level cap, and will therefore always keep offering rewards. You can keep earning Vault Card levels even after you've scored all of that Card's gear to earn Diamond Keys, Eridium, and higher-level versions of the Card's gear.

As with many of the challenges, there are a few different ways you can go about doing this. You could choose to do it in a big city like Saint Denis with tonnes of shops but also loads of police officers, or try two smaller cities like Valentine and Strawberry.

To rob a cash register, approach the shopkeep and hold down the left trigger. You should get an option to 'aim weapon' with the right trigger. Do so and the option to rob the til should appear. Once you've done this it should count as holding up one register.

No matter where you choose to do this a good tip is to be very close to the shopkeeper. This way if they try to fight back you can hit them instead of having a gun going off and alerting the officers. You can also choose to kill them afterwards so there aren't any witnesses to tattle.

You can also leave and return to a town, pay off a bounty if you need to, and still manage to rob four shops fairly easily in the span of one in-game day. Take your time and be methodical and this challenge isn't as difficult as it seems.

Fortnite Week 3 Challenges have just gone live, and while the vast majority of the objectives are pretty straightforward, the task of destroying toilets may be giving some players pause. In this guide, we'll reveal two different locations you can use that feature far more than the three toilets you need to get this challenge done. Land at these locations, and you'll get that Battle Pass XP fast.

If you're looking for a toilet, what better place is there to go than the revamped Flush Factory point of interest? For those who didn't know, Flush Factory refers to this unnamed building southeast of Slurpy Swamp.

When you go there, head inside the main factory building and you'll see at least five different toilets you can destroy. Enter through the entrance with the big truck out front, take out your Pickaxe and do some whacking.

If Flush Factory fails you completely, it's possible to find more toilets to destroy at this spot east of Craggy Cliffs. You can see there's a small smudge on the map there, but it's not immediately clear what it is.

When you get there you'll see a large truck. There are four toilets in the back to destroy. Now that you know where plenty of toilets are located, the toughest part of this challenge will be landing at these spots before your opponents. But, if you head directly there at the start of a match, it shouldn't take too long to secure your XP reward. That's all you need to know to destroy toilets in Fornite Season 5.

Of course, destroying toilets is just one of the new Week 3 Challenges to make its debut in Fortnite Thursday morning. As usual, Epic has added seven normal quests and one Legendary Quest for players to complete. Here's the full list of challenges for those who've yet to take a close look at their in-game quest log.

Ziplines are a new addition for Fortnite Season 7, and they're pretty much everywhere on the map. Rather than point out each individual spawn location, we've circled a few spots that give you the highest odds of getting the challenge done fast.

A helpful hint about Ziplines in Fortnite is that they generally show up close to airplane hangars. If you already know a few plane spawns, just use those as your guide. You can get more info from our X-4 Plane spawn locations guide as well.

This challenge first appeared during Week 4 of Season 6, and it should work the exact same way. All you have to do is go to a place on the Battle Royale map with lots of houses, like Pleasant Park or Retail Row, and press the interact button to "ring doorbell" once an opponent goes inside.

To get this Week 3 Challenge done, look for a house with cars or other sources of cover surrounding it. Once you see an enemy pas through the doorway, ring the doorbell. You only have to do this three times over multiple matches. It may take some time for the scenario to arise, but your chances of it happening are best in Solos because there are more opponents on the map. It's also possible to use some clever outside coordination between friends if necessary.
