Sub - House Tax Is applicable for condominiums / apartments and Plotted licence colonies or not ?

This has in the reference to the House Tax . The residents living in Licensed Colonies are in a fix on the subject House Tax . Is there any Court Order stating on House Tax ? The attached copy of the Orders by Hon'ble Supreme Court speaks nothing on House Tax . Kindly clear the picture so the residents can do the needful . I hope Your Good self must have information about the situation of  the Licensed area .

The Municipal Corporation has never replied / responded on the objections filed by the Residents .Kindly inform on this aspect also .

There is no reason stands for Municipal Corporation on taking over of Plotted Licensed Colonies and provide all the services as applicable .The Act clearly states as soon as Builder complete the development works , any Government agency can takeover . If provision is there and MCG has no stand on this issue why the residents of Plotted Licensed Colony  stand with MCG ?

As far as Apartments / High Rise Buildings are concerned the Builder has to pay House Tax till the transfer of the Property . The Apartment ownership Act clearly states on the payment of any kind of Tax that the ownership belongs to Builder till the Transfer of Property .

Kindly reply to avoid any misunderstanding and clarity for common man . This is the duty of MCG to provide clear information .

Dear Mr. Vikas,

Supreme Court had given six moths time to the builders to complete external and internal developments thereafter to apply for Completion Certificate. So we can approach High Court after March 2013 i.e. after six months and take up the issue of MCG's  takeover   and tax levy thereafter.
