When I do the make install thing, I get

python setup.py install --prefix=/usr/local
running install

Doing some googling it looks like you need to have the libpython2.5-devel RPM installed. (https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=30351)

I can start guppy directly, but get:
[graeme@haydn tmp]$ cd guppy-1.0.2/guppy
[graeme@haydn guppy]$ ./guppy

I'm not sure why you are getting these warnings. Is there an icon for the Turbo button? The Turbo button in the centre of the window between the right and left arrow buttons.

I welcome help to do a proper install, but perhaps you could also advise if the warnings and errors are significant.

I hope that helps.

BTW I've moving the mailing discussion to the following Google Group now http://groups.google.com/group/guppy-app

Cheers,
Tony

Thanks
Graeme
