Does guppy include any code to get information from .rec headers ?

I'm interested in getting title data and whether the .rec was recorded
from a radio or tv channel.

Hi,

No Guppy doesn't get any information from .rec headers. I'd be interesting in displaying this data in Guppy if you found out to get this data.

I found this
http://www.toppy.org.uk/~bellissimo/TFRecHeaderOffsets.htm

But i'd guessing there must be something in the header which specifies
the model too.
I haven't got too much time to look into it, but will let you know if
I do a reader for it.

I've done a very first rough port of HDD_DecodeRECHeader.c from FirebirdLib.
It's not pythonic (it's a straight port) and probably buggy too.

Firebirds libtopfield can be found here:

Posting this now as I get easily distracted from my own projects and
don't know if I'll carry on working on this or get distracted :)
