James R. Wilson has left a new comment on your post "PhDs and Masters":

I'm just now finishing my doctoral exams and will be submitting my dissertation proposal by mid-summer. I plan to look on the reciprocal relation between theological method and the doctrine of God, focusing on the problematic of "transcendence" and "immanence." Gunton and Robert Jenson will be my two primary case studies, Gunton for indirect language and divine transcendence, Jenson direct reference and immanence. While at this point, I'm thinking the bulk of my work will be descriptive and analytic, I want to conclude with suggestions for moving beyond the tendency to emphasize transcendence to the exclusion of immanence and vice versa, and believe the solution lies in strengthening the link between the doctrine of the Trinity and the formal criterion of (true)infinity/eternity.

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback on these ideas.
