எங்கு இருக்கிறது இந்த ஏழைகள் உணவகம்.:
.டீ ஒரு ரூபாய்,சப்பாத்தி ஒரு ரூபாய்,சப்பாடு இரண்டு ரூபாய்,பருப்பு ஒன்னரை ரூபாய்,தோசை நாலு ரூபாய்,மீன் கறி சாப்பாடு பதிமூன்று ரூபாய் இதெல்லாம் எங்கே,(நம்மூர் அம்மா உணவகத்தில் கூட ஒரு சோறு ஐந்து ரூபாயாச்சே) எங்கே என்று நீங்கள் ஆச்சர்யத்துடன் கேட்பது புரிகிறது. இந்த கேன்டீன் இயங்குவது டில்லி பார்லிமெண்ட் வளாகத்திற்குள்தான். மாதம் 80 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் என்ற சொற்ப சம்பளம் வாங்கும் ஏழை எம்பிக்களுக்காக இந்த கேன்டீன் செயல்படுகிறது.வருமானவரி பிடித்தம் கிடையாது என்பது உள்ளீட்ட சலுகைகள் வழங்கினாலும் நம்மூர் எம்பிக்களால் அதிகம் சாப்பாட்டுக்கு செலவழிக்க முடியாது என்பதால் இந்த அளவிற்கு சலுகை விலையில் உணவு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.இந்த விலையில் சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டும் எங்க தொகுதி எம்பி எதுவும் பேசமாட்டேங்குகிறாரே என்கிறீர்களா?அதற்கு நாங்கள் ஜவாப்தாரியல்ல.

Where is this Poor Man’s Restaurant?

Tea Re.1, Chapathi Re.1, Rice Rs.2, Dhal Rs.1.50, Dosa Rs.4.00, Fish Curry Meals Rs. 13.00 etc. Where is this Restaurant? Where? I know, you will be asking where (Even in TN-Jayalalitha’s Amma Restaurant it is Rs. 5.00 for meals!). Well, this restaurant functions inside the Parliament complex! This is for our garib MPs with a meager salary of Rs. 80,000 pm. Food is supplied at this subsidized rate because our MPs cannot afford to spend more money for food even after concessions like no tax deductions, free Train and flight travel etc. Do you complain that your MP does not talk in the Parliament about your issues even after taking meals in this canteen? Well, we are not responsible.
