Ihave a little problem, please. In fact, I have a DSE7320 which is a generator controller and I want to access its datas on my plc. I've followed the siemens turorial so that I'm using a ET200SP, and a CM PtP as the dse7320 supports rs485.

I've connected the wires ( Transfer, receive and ground ) the right way, and I think I did the right way the config of the 02 blocks that I used (Modbus_comm_load and Modbus_master), But unfortunately, nothing.

The fun fact is, there is no error message, the status is 7000 which means no operations is processing I think , but sometimes the ''BUSY'' of my modbus_master block is switches to 1.

Please , could someone help me with this issue?

Important information! Due specification from Manufacturer's site, it looks like that CAN bus is available here so not Modbus RTU and RS485 bus. Can I ask you how you decide to have RS485 and Modbus RTU protocol? Can you confirm also that you have that Modbus RTU device capable for sure?

datasheet is not enough in this case. You have to ask Manufacturer for sure due your serial number or other data that it can be identified for sure, other expansions can be existed. Or you are 100% sure about this? I'm not from your description. pls download that Manuals from their site also (Operational manual,...). What is more interesting, from their web page about this product is no information about Modbus protocol used, only some CAN bus connection so therefore I ask for sure.
