We have been using the Google gUnify apps connector with CRM Zoho. We have been using for almost a year. I have it automated so that when a rep places a call using the click to dial it creates a call on the contact record. A workflow then tracks a call or task was completed and updates the sales last touch fields on both the account and the contact.
Sometime in the end of July our internal workflows stopped working it has been a bear of a time locating what happened. At first, it was an addition of worklowtrigger=true to the API. That was corrected and now the calls are connecting. The workflow should update both the Contact last touch field and the Account Last touch field.
I spent all day yesterday backtracking the issues. Here is what i found....
The API needs to allow it to connect the Account Name in the "Related To" field.
We would also like to see an option save and close on the call pop box. Or make the save button close the window.
Does anyone else use gUnify with Zoho and have automation in use with Workflows? How are you managing?
