Hello,
I'm fairly new to Guncho, and I may be interested in making my own
game on it. If you are interested, I'll describe the game I'd like to
make in another post: I would be interested to know what people think.
First, however, I'd like to say that for players (rather than
developers) there does not seem to be much help available. I connected
to Guncho today in the capacity of a player, and I was lost; there's
not much to tell me where each realm is, which realms are in a
playable state and which aren't, and so on; when I went into Fairhaven
Library, I wasn't even aware that I'd left the Outer Realm. I
appreciate that everything is still in early stages though. So which
are the most developed realms, and what progress has been made?

(By the way, does anyone know how to make it print a new line in
between the output of each command? I'm using Atlantis, which seems to
allow me to customise everything *but* the line spacing.)

[Re-sent due to google error rejecting the first attempt]

See http://wiki.guncho.com/ and follow and read the links. (General IF
and MUD introductory information also applies.)

In particular
http://wiki.guncho.com/index.php?title=List_of_realms
and http://wiki.guncho.com/index.php?title=Category:Playable_realms

Realms you can reach directly from the Outer Realm (your initial
starting realm) are listed at
http://wiki.guncho.com/index.php?title=The_Outer_Realm

Or better yet, explore! There are some interesting little things to
discover by wondering around.

If a realm author hasn't written a wiki page yet you can (a) bug^H^H^Hask
them to write one or (b) start one for them (someone should make a
realm-stub wiki template to make this easy). Questions on a specific
realm can go on the talk/discussion page of the realm.

That's kind of the point of linking realms together. If you were
carrying something you'd have been informed because the default is to
drop all carried items when leaving a realm (items cannot travel between
realms).

This is question for whatever help/support/forum/mailing-list/etc your
client has.

Thanks for the reply. I had actually read much of the Wiki, but
exploring is also good.

Does that imply that all of the realms are supposed to act as though
they are part of one big universe? Surely they are independent
projects, and so I would have expected it to say when I'm leaving one
and entering another. The map that someone uploaded to the group is
very helpful in this regard.
