Howdy,

There are a couple news bits I thought should be announced.

Notification of repo and project move:

Google Code no longer allows file uploads. I was forced to find a new hosting service. As of now, new Gummworld2 content will be hosted by Bitbucket.

The Bitbucket page is https://bitbucket.org/gummbum/gummworld2. The repo format is Mercurial (hg, tortoisehg client).

The previous downloads will be left up on the Google Code site as long as Google allows it, including the deprecated zips.

Notification of release 0.4.5:

In time for the upcoming Pyweek, Gummworld2 0.4.5 has been posted to http://www.pygame.org/project-Gummworld2-1733-4715.html. This release contains the new TMW demo and the fix in BasicMapRenderer for objects without an image.

I discovered TMW is copyrighted under GPL v2, which conflicts with Gummworld2's LGPL, so I chose to break out TMW asset files into a separate zip to avoid any licensing fiascoes for future potential commercial users of Gummworld2. This zip file is named gummworld2_tmw.zip in downloads, and contains instructions for copying the few files into place so the Tiled examples will work.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Gumm
