Dear all,
I would be very grateful if you could forward the message below to all your members.

Dear Clubs and Socs,
Thought it was high time I sent you an email about some upcoming clubs and society related issues, namely the Volunteering Clubs and Societies awards, grant applications and the SRC elections. So read on for a
few more details, I promise I'll keep it short.
*Each year the SRC asks students to identify the club, society or individual who deserves recognition for their contribution to our brilliant clubs, socs and volunteering community. There are eight categories and
winning entrants are awarded £50 for their society.
*As you may have heard me mention once or twice during the clubs and socs induction, we are awfully keen to be financially useful to your society. Please continue to fill out grant
forms and don't hesitate to get in contact with myself or Julia Tracey if you have any questions about the grant procedure. I've attached a wee link to the online application form http://www.glasgowstudent.net/clubs/
*Finally... nominations for SRC Spring Elections 2012 are now open! There are over 40 positions to stand for including charities, clubs and societies officer, a post currently filled by the lovely Julia Tracey.
If any of the positions interest you, please feel free to email with questions or queries. I'd be more than happy to meet up and talk through the roles or put you in contact with the individual currently in office. Better get your
skates on however as nominations close on Friday at 4pm. Below is another link (sorry) to the SRC elections page
All the best,
Amy Johnson
