Though I have been late entrant into this discussion, I had been following the thread since Nivedita started this.
The sole reason for me not putting my presence here was that I was not sure of the real situation vs euphoria that has been created here.
I live in Pune and my parents in Meerut. We had booked a Flat in Gulmohar Gardens in 2008 with promise to deliver by June 2010.
Regularly we had been getting the dues letter from SVP, but every time we talk to Arti about possession date, a promise of next 4 to 6 months was given.
Last weekend I had to attend a wedding in Delhi. This gave me time to visit the site on Monday. I was aghast by the situation there. The list of fraud by the builders is long and I think all the points have been covered till now. And now I see that the builder is habitual defaulter with Gulmohar Greens case coming in light.
I have now refused to pay the last two installments of the balance. Infact I propose all to talk to their respective banks that they send a notice to the builder seeking the Project completion status from the builder. After all Banks must also be concerned about their loans. If nothing, the SVP group will be pressurized by a big player to deliver in time.
I am going to write to Arti about refusal to payment of dues.

Regarding the meeting this Sunday, I shall not be able to attend the meet, but since now would monitor the dovelopments more closely.
 
I also seek to create a core group if possible(prefrably flat owners living locally), who would at least have all details of all concerned flat owners and the current status of discussion with SVP management.
