Subject: Reminder: Data Centers in South Carolina Webinar

We invite you to join us this Friday, March 27th, 2026, for an informational Data Center Webinar. Our State Energy & Climate Program Director, Taylor Allred, will be hosting the session to discuss how the rush to build data centers in South Carolina could impact communities, utility ratepayers, and natural resources. We will also dive into pending data center bills in the State House and what changes we want to see this legislative session.

Before signing up, be sure to include your questions here so we can promptly address them at the end of the webinar. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Coastal Conservation League's Energy & Climate Project Coordinator, Dylan McGuire, made the map above, which shows the footprint of a proposed 1,000-megawatt data center at the headwaters of the Ashepoo River in Colleton County.
