Gullah/Geechee Famlee Weekend een de Gullah/Geechee Epicenter!Jayn we pun historic St. Helena Island, SC at Penn Center fa "Gullah/Geechee Famlee Weekend!"Friday, July 24, 2026 at 6 pm the "Gullah/Geechee CREATE Artists Reception" will be held featuring the artist Bruce Ingram who is premiering his folk art collection at the Dr. York W. Bailey Museum.  The Gullah/Geechee CREATE Artists Collective will sell art and there will be a special art auction.Saturday, July 25, 2026 bring out de eldas and de chillun!  Put on your dancing shoes as we celebrate at our annual Gullah/Geechee Reunion!  Gullah/Geechee Famlee Day will begin with the drum call and libation ceremony at Noon.  E gwine be a bless up Gullah/Geechee time ya!
