We're thrilled to announce the inaugural champions of the Jax Litter League: Operation G.L.A.D.D. Dads! Led by team captain Michael Tyke, this dedicated crew collected over 50 bags of litter, proving their commitment to keeping Jacksonville beautiful. Their extraordinary efforts went beyond the numbers, as they also tackled bulky debris and hard-to-bag trash, making a real impact on our public spaces.
As the top-scoring team, Operation G.L.A.D.D. Dads has earned the grand prize! They will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp game on Tuesday, September 9, and will enjoy the game from a private suite at VyStar Veterans Memorial Stadium. We want to extend a huge thank you to every single person who participated in the Jax Litter League. Your hard work and dedication have made our city cleaner and more beautiful, one bag at a time.
