Reconstruction Era National Historical Park is hiring a seasonal park ranger. Duties will include staffing our visitor center and contact stations, and leading public tours and programs in downtown Beaufort, Darrah Hall in the Penn Center National Historic
Landmark District, and Camp Saxton in Port Royal.
This position is seasonal/temporary in nature, and the term will end in the late fall, but it is a great experience for anyone looking to explore employment opportunities with the NPS. We are advertising this under what is called the Field Unit Local Hiring
Authority, which means it is open only to current residents of the area, as defined as Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton Counties in SC, and Chatham County in GA. For application information please visit
