Peace and Many Blessings!
I pray that you are well and warm with joy and peace surrounding you.
I greatly appreciate everyone that reached out to me to find out if all is well in the Gullah/Geechee Nation and to be able to support the on-going work of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition as well as my overall GOD-given mission. I am writing you to let you know that even in the midst of healing, we are truly blessed in the Gullah/Geechee Nation. I am thankful for folks that simply ask me, "How are you doing?" and I am grateful to reply, "I am busy and blessed. All is well."
As you know, this is my 25th anniversary as Queen and the 25th anniversary of the Gullah/Geechee Nation. Next month, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the oldest organization in world history to have "Gullah/Geechee" in its name-the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition. When I founded the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition it was to bring together and unify native Gullah/Geechees (which is why there is not to be a space or dash in the name). In thirty years, I found that my community and my culture has served as not only a source of unification but of inspiration for cultural heritage communities throughout the world. I give thanks for that.
In order to conclude our 25th anniversary celebration and to support the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition's work to continue to protect the land rights, water rights and human rights of native Gullah/Geechees, I am calling on you to do one or all of the following things:
1) Bring your family and friends and come join us at the "41st Annual Penn Center Heritage Days Celebration" and make a purchase of an item and/or contribute a donation to the Gullah/Geechee Land & Legacy Fund at our Gullah/Geechee Nation tent.

We need to reach $75K by December 21, 2025. We have multiple legal cases taking place as well as a sacred burial site protection project and we just contributed donations of previously raised funds to assist with paying delinquent land taxes on historic St. Helena Island, SC so that Gullah/Geechee families would be able to retain the land that our ancestors left us. Therefore, getting to our fundraising goal this year is more crucial than ever.
3) For those that have asked how you can support me specifically, please go to http://www.GullahGeechee.biz and make a purchase even if you donate it to a local school, charitable organization, child, orphanage, family, library, etc. The funds that come in from the items that are listed help us to continue the work that we are doing to fight for Gullah/Geechee culture to remain alive on our land in the Gullah/Geechee Nation.
