I just got done with painting the interior of my house and just had to
share my experience. I found a samll paint store called "Dyco paints".
They make thier own paint off of Ulmerton in Largo as well as selling
the BenMoore products. I used Ban Moore before but with the suggestion
of the store clerk, he saved me a lot of money by talking me into
trying the Dyco paint. I could tell the difference as sson as I opened
the can, much thicker and smoother. It spread on like melted butter
and coverage was excellent, I am now a Dycoer when it comes to paint.
I tried them because when I went to Home #### to get a match from a
fan deck, they would not even try to match it because they said they
could not get the right formula from the computer matching system, so
I tried the Lower guys and they made my red turn yellow with thier
matching system. The guy at Dyco Paints did it the old fashion way
and when it comes to paint matches, I guess the experienced eye is
better than technology, Dyco got it perfect.
Good job guys, you have another customer from Gulfport.
Just to let you know, they have a store on first avenue south, a few
blocks east of 58th street, I think it is 55th st. I really think
they need to change the hours; mon-friday 7-5 and Sat. 8-12, I was
told they were going to try 8-2 on sat, we'll see.
