Oracle DBA

 Long term

Framingham, MA

Around 10-12 years (M level)

 

Technical

·       Excellent Oracle DBA ( Techno Functional Manager) with background to eCommerce  .

·         Innovation and Automation, Unix/Perl scripting

·         Knowledge of 12c grid and database

·         Good working knowledge on Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Grid etc

·         Experience on Oracle Performance Tuning

·         Prior experience on complete lifecycle including Install, upgrade and patching

·       Awareness of all 4 layers of the stack (application, database, OS and Hardware) .

·       Awareness of new trends in enterprise data domain ( Hadoop, Mongo, Teradata etc) is desired

Management

  • The role will interact with VP of enterprise Data domain in customer organization.  
  • Demonstrated leadership and Project management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent customer facing skills is mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Should have worked in onsite-offshore delivery model
  • Should be very strong with ITIL frame work and must be ITIL foundation certified
  • Practical experience on Incident lifecycle management,  major incident management and event correlation etc
  • Experience/exposure to ITSM tool such as Service Now
  • Should possess ability to take logical decisions
  • Good to have - ability to advise clients on a variety of business processes/services that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities
