How are you all doing w Summertime? I took off some time. When I just picked up my guitar all that comes out is chords. Any tips from anyone about picking?

What I can't figure out is – why is this damn thing so hard?

The chords look simple, but I'm still fumbling at the turn arounds; at least I think that's what they're called.

Gave up on the Am6/C; just using Am6.

What the …..

As for singing – (sigh)

The key to the song is to “ornament” your strumming- lift-offs, hammers, innovating chords.....
