I am having a hard time with the chord progressions of the songs.

It seems the songs runs away from me and I am always late on the chord progression.

Yes me too. I think it's just that it's very fast paced...I'm also struggling with one of the chords. Can't remember which one right now. I've only been able to practice one night so hoping to get some time in tonight.

Glad you asked. 

I've slowed it down to the point where I can keep up, but the words are extremely drawled. 

I yi yi. 

Going to the E+ and the G7sus have been tough for me. 

Still working it though.

P.S. I'm using 2 strums per chord – does that sound right?

Hi guys,

 

Like Ali and Gulrez I am having a problem with the timing (not so much with the chords).

 

I understand the two strums per chord but I cannot quite get when to change on some of them, except the section about her heart is filled with wine.

 

There is a beautiful instrumental version on youtube of a Russian fellow playing the song. Check it out. He capoed it on the fourth fret and I think it sounds better and I can sing it better up there.

 

This weekend, or maybe even this evening, I will get back to it.
