Sorry gary - I was supposed to scan the music last night but got distracted. Will do this evening after work. Raffi tried to send it to you - it's Friday I'm in Love by the cure (ver 2 on ultimate guitar)

Sorry took so long.  ok. the pages say three pages, but there are only 2.

The little riff is played (we think) on the first D, then the Bm7 (ps BM9 is swapped for Bm7)  When I listen to the song the riff isn't as often - more at the start of each verse.

I've attached an MP3 of the acoustic version (which I also like!)

the lesson on Monday was spent on as Tears go by, soloing and learning individual sections of the finger picking.

Hi everyone,

Fist of all, can anyone answer the question that Gulrez asked? Class next week? I assume so, but, just in case.

Secondly, I began work on the song. Once one opens with the picking riff do we continue to pick? There are two guitars playing, one picking and one strumming the chords.

My guess is that we open with the picking as per the tabs and then ornament the transitions. Except for the midway break where I guess one should pick the chords.

Feedback would be appreciated.

I'm assuming class is on for next week... Yes strum the rest.   Picking riff is before the first D and then again at the B? (Whatever that chord is). I'm just doing the riff at the D cuz think it sounds better (and is easier)

Sorry I’m so late catching up to all of this. 

I’m not the bet at this but is the melody all through the song the same as the guitar lick? 

If it is, then it goes over top of all the chords. Not sure what to do with that. 

And if that’s not enough, I don’t seem to be able to get the lick in and still have time to strum any of D.

sigh.
