Hello guys .. and thanks for the invitation. I hope to be able to
contribute more as I get back into hatching out my own birds. I have
some chicken eggs arriving next week for my Silkie to set on. This
will be her 2nd try at it this year .. I keep telling her that
February is a bit early to be wanting to hatch out chicks ! (Probably
not be a problem for you down there, Larry, but VA is still a bit
chilly.)

Teresa,

The GFIA forum seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel (interesting not) of late.  Few posts lately of interest to me.  I'm getting a 7th guinea hen tomorrow.  I'm hoping for a couple more hens to surface in the community.

I agree.. same old thing over and over.  And Larry says previous "friends" have been instructed to not reply to his emails or mention him on the forum.   Heil Hitler.
  Both my adopted guinea hens are now laying.  I may pop a few of the eggs in the incubator after my chicken hatch is complete.  I don't like mixing the two, though technically it is possible.
