I use Bluefish all the time, although on a Linux box. It has many features that make it much easier to use than a plain text editor, and does not add a lot of bloat like some of the wysiwyg editors. I believe it also conforms to all the W3C standards (although of course you can intentionally violate them, if you wish).

Creating and editing HTML has never been easier with our free and easy online HTML editor. It is a powerful and user-friendly tool that lets you unleash your creativity and design your website in minutes. You can enjoy these amazing features and benefits.

Get rid of your dirty markup with the free online HTML Cleaner. It's very easy to compose, edit, format and minify the web code with this online tool. Convert Word docs to tidy HTML and any other visual documents like Excel, PDF, Google Docs etc. It's extremely simple and efficient to work with the two attached visual and source editor which respond instantly to your actions.

On the top of the page you can see the visual editor and the source code editor next to each other. Whichever you modify the changes will be reflected on the other in real time. The visual HTML editor allows beginners to easily compose their content just like when using any other word processor program, while on the right the source editor with highlighted code markup helps the advanced users to adjust the code. This makes this online program a nice tool to learn HTML coding.

To compose online PDFs, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or any other documents composed with different word editor programs or just to copy the content copied from another website, paste the formatted content in the visual editor. The HTML source of the document will be immediately visible in the source editor as well. The control bar above the WYSIWYG editor controls this field while all other source cleaning settings are for editing the source code. Click the Clean HTML button after setting up the cleaning preferences. Copy the cleaned code and publish it on your website.

Convert the HTML tables to structured div elements activating the corresponding checkbox. In the past web designers used to build their websites using tables to organize page layout, but in the era of responsive web design tables are outdated and DIV's are taking their place. This online tool helps you turn your tables to structured div elements with a few simple clicks.

Apologies for not knowing much, but I'm looking for a lightweight WYSIWYG html editor, and don't know enough to figure out if Whisk is such an app. I don't know how to right code, and only need to format online text fields that except html tags like bold, center, italic, and so on. Thanks for an info on finding such an app.

If you're looking for something that is true WYSIWYG then there are other editors like Webflow, Blocs, or Sparkle. These may be overkill for your needs; for really simple HTML output you might even be able to use TextEdit and just have it set to save as a .html file.

Another important factor is customization. Competition online is hotter than ever, so the chance to go beyond preexisting templates is key. Accessibility is also important. The right WYSIWYG editor can help you create a unique look and user experience for every user in your audience.

Free online What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor with instant HTML converter and cleaning features. Compose your documents online in your web browser without downloading and installing any program.

This online HTML editor requires JavaScript to run. Your browser either doesn't support JavaScript, or JavaScript is currently disabled (via preferences or options). Because of this, you will see the raw HTML code instead of the rich text / WYSIWYG editor.

HTML Editor Tools is a collection of free online resources that make web content composing easier than ever. Work with HTML code directly in your web browser without downloading and installing any suspicious software. The HTML Editor has been designed to integrate all features that copywriters, bloggers and other web editors require. Experienced web developers are familiar with HTML code but this free online tool makes it possible for non-developers to compose an article. You don't need to know anything about programming. Everyone who can use a word editor can easily work with this HTML editor too. No need know any programming and/or markup language.

This online tool will let you put your documents together very quickly and easily. In the meantime you can learn HTML coding too. This will definitely be easier than using Notepad, Dreamviewer or other similar softwares which require installation and constant and unnecessary upgrades.

This online instant HTML Editor is composed of two real-time text areas, where you can preview and access the visual and the source code simultaneously. Change either the WYSIWYG editor on the left or the syntax highlighted soruce code on the right, your adjustments will affect the other one immediately as you're typing.

To save the content as a .html file, first create a new .txt file on your system. Add the necessary head and body sections to the file (visit the HTML cheat sheet and look for the Blank page template section) finally and paste your code between the opening and closing body tags. Save the file then rename it, changing the extension to .html. Open it in a web browser to see it in action. The cheat sheet (linke above) will help you add other necessary header sections to your file.

After reading this article you might have realized that this is probably the greatest online tool which will save you a lot of time and money. Used together with the other HTML tools you can maximize your working efficiency whether you're a casual or a professional publisher.

I would call this HTML editor tool the Swiss Army Knife of online content publishing because of the ease of use and versatility it represents. If you're not satisfied with what this website offers you are welcome to subscribe for a membership at HTML6.com which provides even more features, such as the tag manager, the tag and attribute filters and many more.

Larger online retailers have big budgets to optimize their navigation and user interface to drive higher conversion rates. They do this by experimenting relentlessly to find the designs with the results they are targeting: drawing visitors to their stores, delivering the products they are looking for, and ultimately closing the sales. They use analytics to help select everything from typefaces and call-to-action colors to page layouts and search result presentations.

Unfortunately, most small online retailers do not have the staff or resources to outsource the design of multiple versions of their web pages. The actual hosting and serving of multiple pages may be technically challenging as well, depending on their shopping carts. This puts them at a huge disadvantage to large retailers who can justify enormous investments in optimizing their stores.

Note that for future consideration, when applying for jobs, your web site gets listed on your application and any application form, like the online service MathJobs.org for academic jobs, so that prospective employers are essentially encouraged to check it out.

Well, it is easy, and it is hard. The easy part is that all you need is an ascii (text) editor to write the webpages in html language, and a secure FTP client to move the text files up to the directory "/public_html/" in your account main directory "math.uic.edu/username" The hard part is that you have to know something about writing html documents to do it this simply.

Presuming you are familiar with CSS, you would just edit the stylesheet for your theme to create borders for paragraphs or regions for your site. The more specific you want your site to look from the appearance a theme provides, the more you should get up to speed with theming. The Drupal Theming Guide is a good place to start. There are several online resources and books to get you up to speed.
