Hi y'all
two days to go to the
Grading folks!!! The time has finally arrived! We have trained hard in the past months, it is now time to fight easy!
We are now all seasoned jitsukas, so no need for a long explanation about the grading. Just a few tips / reminders....
- It is planned to last 5 hours - so make sure you have some good dinner the night before (preferably pasta/rice) and a good breakfast. Cereal probably wont be enough....so have some snacks (fruit/nuts...on the way to the grading and some glucose snacks -jaffa cakes- to keep your energy levels hight.
- Keep
hydrated. Drink lots of water the day before & on Saturday just sip
water - Sensei Nev witnessed someone being excused to go to the loo just before his dark blue V :)
- Wash and iron your gi, cut your nails, wear underwear (important advice for outside jitsu too)
- It
is not the end of the world if you make a mistake, we are judged by a
number of things (confidence is an important one) , so dont give up ...or yell rubbish (after a rubbish throw), the instructor could be looking another way.
