Can't Open the software

Hello Everyone,
I have installed the GUIGUW software. But the software starts and flickers off showing an error message stating "First input to exist must be a string. Error in = > GUI_mainGUIGUW.mat at line 42 ". I have seen many posts in the last few year stating the same error. So how can I solve this issue
