It's great to hear the enthusiasm from everyone for the upcoming L.A. Seminar - yay! Here in New York, we are gearing up to go out there and have a blast. Teaching and training with old friends as well as new practitioners is a thrill for us all – too much fun!
One of the things I love about going to these seminars is seeing GC students improve so quickly. Watching people processing the enormous amount of information being given to them, working with it, and having their “aha moments”, etc. is great. You can actually see a difference in how the people are thinking and moving from one day to the next, it's pretty awesome.
Yes, it's definitely true that you have to feel GC first-hand, no two ways about it. No matter how good the videos and books are, there is just no substitute for experiencing it for yourself. Even a little bit of training time from the masters will, as Colonel Al would say, “get your mind right” about where you are and what you need to do.
Anyway, we are really looking forward to seeing everyone out there next month. I've been wanting to go to CA for years, and this will be my first time. I'm thinking about taking a surfing lesson or two, and putting my GC balance skills to the test :)
Am definitely bummed I won't be able to make it and help the women kick some butt! Btw we are working on a program specifically for women, so maybe we can arrange something out there in the near future. Perhaps Mrs.Yeung would find it interesting? ;)
Hope all is well with you and hope to see you in Elmsford soon!
