Winter 2019 edition available

[Guide to Evagrius Ponticus]

The winter 2019 edition of the Guide to Evagrius Ponticus is now available. 

Summer and autumn 2019 editions were not created because major work was being performed, upgrading features of the Guide.

The checklist of writings has been completely overhauled with a new transformation algorithm. Most importantly, the checklist of editions, translations, transcriptions, etc. has been moved from the Zotero database to a TAN-A file, which allows for RDF-like assertions with great precision. For the first time, now, users will be able to find easily transcriptions from manuscripts, previously on the site but not integrated into the checklist. So far, only CPG 2430 and CPG 2431 (Praktikos and Gnostikos) have entries that exhibit the kind of accuracy I'd like to see across the entire publication.

The bibliography now has a tag urn for every entry, logged in the field labeled "extra". This makes it possible to use the Zotero database in conjunction with the TAN library, so that assertions made in the TAN files can be linked to more complete metadata.
