guidata: dataitem width

Hello,

Is there a way to specify the wdth of an item in the guidata GUI?

For example I want to make 'ButtonItem'  not spanning the whole GUI window in case only a single button at a given line.
Or can I put an invisible item in the same line so I acheive the same result?
