GuiData raise newly created dialog

Hi I am new to guidata and I would like to know if there is anyway to raise newly created dialogs in front of any other windows. I use python on mac and usually run guidata dialogs from an ipython notebook however every time a new window is created it pops up always behind the browser, is there a way to tell the new dialog to pop up in front of the browser/terminal?
