An ordinary and gorgeous college student, Lee Seol (Kim Tae-hee), finds out that she is a princess and the great-granddaughter of the Joseon Dynasty's last Emperor, Emperor Sunjong. The grandson of the chairman of Daehan Group, Park Hae-young (Song Seung-heon), is put in charge of educating Seol on proper etiquette in order for her to fulfill her role. However, Hae-young is put in a precarious situation when he finds himself drawn to Seol, the girl who will take away his inheritance if the monarchy is restored.
This manhwa series has no single main protagonist but numerous characters whose lives and loves are often mixed with politics and sometimes even war. The series follows the connections between them and also go on for three generations of both Ramira, Anatoria and Skador. However, the plot usually does go back to the couple Biyon and Biancasta aka Bii and their daughter who is the future princess of Ramira.
Daughter of Prince Biyon's nursemaid. Bii was raised with him as sibling and the two fell in love. But when Bii was 11th years old, Biyon's father, the king of Ramira, started looking for a princess for his son. Soon after, Eirene, Bii's mother, forbids her daughter to see Biyon again, in order to weaken their love. But after several days, the children meet again and Biyon declares to Bii that he will make her his princess. But later Bii has a disagreement with Eshild Balder, the only daughter of the Prime Minister of Ramira and the most serious candidate to become the princess. This first encounter will have terribles consequences for Bii. Indeed, worried about her daughter's future, Eshilde's mother makes her husband promise to kill Bii if their daughter is to be the princess. A few days later, Biyon takes Bii on a horseback ride and after giving her a crown of flowers, the prince promises the little girl that not only he will marry her, but he will also give her the crown of the Queen of Ramira, someday. But during the following night, Eirene asks Vasa, a servant girl who is friend with the mother and the daughter, to take Bii away from the palace, in order to protect her from a plot to kill the little girl. Vasa takes Bii in a place named the Pink Mountain and the two live in house surrounded by flowers. But Bii, not knowing that she's in danger, cries believing that her mother abandoned her to separate her from Biyon and begs Vasa to bring her back to her mother, but the young woman refuses knowing that Bii's safe in the mountain. Some time later, while Bii and Vasa take care of the flowers, they discover two young girls unconscious in each other's arms.
Eldest daughter of Skadei Thor and first princess of Anatoria. Her mother was Rebecca, a dancer who died in giving birth to her. So, she was raised by her aunt Theodora until she was 5. She loves her friend Hith, her cousin Beatrice, her half-brother Sibel and her half-sister Lila that Areah pratically raised until Lila was 7. When she was 14, her father wants to marry Areah to Prince Silrai of Sgarde in order to replace King Yapa of Sgarde and Queen Theodora by them. Areah, awares of this and in order to save the aunt she considers as her mother, tries to commit suicide by throwing herself into the sea. Fortunately, she was saved by Ramiran pirates but lost all of her memories.
Main country where the story of Princess takes place. Ramira is a little island but with an almost perpetuel spring climate and numerous precious metal mines. The country have also an excellent navy and a good economy so Ramira had almost always knew the peace. But althrought the country is rich, Ramira is considered as a weak state because it doesn't have an army. Because of its wealth, Ramira has always been threatened by its neighboring countries. This country has its own calendar and seems old of more than 600 years. At the beginning of the story, Ramira is governed by the Pyordova dynasty. But the King Kakan Pyordova II's seriously ill and his only heir is a young boy of 12 years. So the King starts looking for a Princess for his son. But both Anatoria and Sgarde take this opportunity to get closer to Ramira, especialy Reuten Thor of Anatoria. Indeed, the King, the General Vaida and the Prime Minister Balder fear that Lord Thor will kill, Eshild Balder.The Prime Minister's daughter and the most serious candidate to become the Princess, then all the others until they choose his daughter Theodora. The Prime Minister plans to make believe that the Prince's nursemaid's daughter, Bii, is the future princess. He believes that the plan can be possible because the Prince loves the girl and had already insisted on marrying her. But the plan is nipped in the bud when Bii disappears. Shortly after, Reuten Thor is murdered by his ancient mistress and the King Pyordova II died of his illness. The Prince Biyon is crowned King Kakan Pyordova III and the General Vaida and the Prime Minister Balder become regents.
A chaebol chairman works to restore the monarchy and locates Korea's long lost, orphaned princess. But she teams up with his grandson instead, pretending to be dating to conceal her real identity and a wrench is thrown into everyone's plans when real love sparks between our main pair.
KTH was funny and cute in Love Havard drama, I think she can act as a princess. But SSH for me too boring in SScent and AITH I watched for WonBin instead. His face always looked serious, hopefully he loosen up for this drama. Both of them look pretty though.

I was just thinking about that after learning about the micronation, Sealand, which is basically just a fort. It would be hilarious if all KTH gets to be princess of is some dinky old plot of land.
I love Kim Tae Hee in "Love story in Harvard". The role of "princess" is suitable for her. But, I need the really good storyline and director. Good storyline and good director are very important and necessary.
SSH is not a good actor enough to lead the drama. So, this drama needs the second good actor such as Oh-ji-ho or .........
Earlier in May, we reported that Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee would be pairing up together for a romantic drama, My Princess, which would air later this year. Nothing much was revealed though, as they both were kept busy with their respective movie filming.allkpop is happy to report that new information about the drama was revealed today, as the production house said that filming will begin in October and will be aired on MBC in January 2011.The story is about an ordinary/poor university female student (Kim Tae Hee) who becomes a princess, and follows her romantic story with a foreign affairs official (Song Seung Hun) who also happens to be the only heir to the wealthiest chaebol group in Korea.This will be their first time working together on a drama/movie, although they did pair up for a fashion show by the late Andre Kim. Fans are nevertheless looking forward to this dream pairing on the small screen, making the drama to be one of the most anticipated in 2011.
