"Despite systemic injustices and daily hardships, parents from Indigenous and Afro-descendent communities work tirelessly to care for their families, uphold community networks, and drive grassroots change. That’s why it’s critical to actively support parents from these groups. By focusing on solutions that centre their needs and experiences, we can create opportunities for a future where these caregivers have the resources, support and recognition they deserve.

Eligibility Criteria 
1. You must be established as a legally registered organisation in Brazil. This can include: 
• Non-profit organisation (including charities or other foundations);
• Private company/enterprise;
• Educational or research institutions. 
2. Proposed solutions:
a) must be tailored specifically for and implemented to the benefit of caregivers of children aged 0-6 in Brazil;
b) are encouraged to have a focus on traditional communities, including Indigenous and Quilombolas, and other Afro-communities.
3. Target population can be:
a) Single parents;
b) Adolescent parents;
c) Parents affected by displacement and migration;
d) Parents in financially vulnerable situations.
4. Applicants must own or be licensed to use relevant intellectual property relevant to their entries and solutions.
5. Applications must be submitted in English or Portuguese

If chosen as a finalist, you will receive a €50,000 grant to develop and test your innovation, with the chance to win a €200,000 grant.

You will also receive:
• A full package of support from experts,
• Access to a powerful network of partners,
• Global recognition of your work and ideas.
