Hello,

Thanks for developing this- it looks like a great tool.  I'm wondering if there is any way to directly port code from PythonCard to gui2py.  I have a PythonCard GUI that I've been using for years but would like to update it.

Thanks,
Brad

Hi Brad:

Today I've released the the third alpha release (0.9.3) that supports
migration of basic PythonCard programs, for example see starter.py:

https://code.google.com/p/gui2py/source/browse/starter.py

and the resource file:

https://code.google.com/p/gui2py/source/browse/starter.rsrc.py

I'm working in a migration tool (migrate.py), that would convert
automatically the PythonCard resources to gui2py:

https://code.google.com/p/gui2py/source/browse/gui/tools/migrate.py

You can try it, please download the latest version from the repository
as it has a minor bugfix that I missed in the release.

I've to port some more widgets (mainly the code editor and the bitmap
canvas IIRC) to be able to migrate most of the samples / demos in
PythonCard .

I'll send the full announce ASAP, including an updated installation
and migration guide

Let me know if I can further help you, and of course, comments are welcome!

Best regards,
