Dear Mike,
The butterfly (image 01) is a Red Admiral; the moth (image 02) is a Jersey Tiger, both on Buddleia davidii. Although the Red Admiral is quite common, and the Jersey Tiger moth perhaps less common, it would be useful to submit a record for each of them to the Guernsey Biological Record Centre, www.biologicalrecordscentre.gov.gg/files/submitrecord.html
Best wishes,
Alan Ritchie
