I've downloaded the SolidSquad Activator for Solidworks 2018. After disconnecting from the internet and successfully changing the series numbers using the activator as an admin,, the activator software quotes "error 6" (access violation), but I've been unable to find any documentation related to this error.

I'm trying to activate an older version of SW 2014 using SW2010-2016.Activator.GUI.SSQ. This used to work, but apparently it's not anymore. The activator simply quits, doesn't show the All Done, enjoy! message. Any ideas?

As written above i cannot install Solidworks 2017. Im getting the error 6 on the activator (i believe is when trying to write on the registry). Any ideas how to sort this out, besides from installing a newer version of SW that from what i have read work just fine (ver. 2020 or newer)
