Likethe original game, players must follow the person dancing on the screen. There are gold moves the player must copy to get a "Yeah". The player can either get a "Yeah" or an "X". There are three different modes in the game. One of them is the normal gameplay. One mode is where everybody must work together to earn points. The last mode is freeze and shake. If a player is frozen, he/she can't dance until they are unfrozen. Shake is like playing a guitar, they must do it to get the arrow in the green area.

There are a few changes to the game. Unlike the original, the dancers do not have the normal white skin, they have regular skin and an outline. The lyrics are sung by kids, except the ones by the Wiggles and the Yo Gabba Gabba cast. There are also 2 backup dancers for the dancer the player follows.

Does your Junior Seahawks Dancer want to potentially expand their experience with the program during the season? The Junior Elite Seahawks Dancers program is designed specifically to promote the growth of young dancers ages nine to twelve, while helping develop professional performance qualities and perfect the art of being a great teammate.

Dancers will learn teamwork, discipline, the importance of hard work and dedication, and responsibility all while training in a fun environment. Junior Elite Seahawks Dancers will participate in two-hour bi-monthly practices taught by three Seahawks Dancers and may have the opportunity to participate in community appearances alongside the Seahawks Dancers.

Junior Elite Seahawks Dancers practices will be held on Wednesday at 5:30-7:30pm from September 2024 through January 2025 (dates and specific location TBD). Junior Elites will also have the special privilege of dancing alongside the Seahawks Dancers in two regular 2024 season games.

The Junior Seahawks Dancers program is open to participants ages 7-14. Registration is limited to the first 225 registrants who pay online. All participants must attend all three clinics and the halftime performance.

The cost is $325 and each participant will receive: An option of a dress, bow and one set of poms, or t-shirt, shorts and rally towel. All packages also include an individual photo, Junior Seahawks Dancers team photo, halftime music to download, a memory video to download, and two game tickets for an August pre-season game. Please note that additional tickets may not be added on and exchanges of uniforms must be managed independently.

The food reviewing journey started at the beginning of the year as juniors Blake Heselius and Max Palmerton combined their love for the culinary arts and their enthusiasm for being behind a camera. The food review videos started out with a small idea and progressively picked up steam as the year went on. More creativity and detail were added each and every time in order to give readers and viewers the most honest and truthful review of local restaurants.

For the last review of the year, the pair went to Princess Anne Country Club for their Ring Dance dinner. Princess Anne is a private country club that offers much more than just dining. Some amenities they have are their golf course, tennis courts, pickleball, sports court, and gym. It was apparent as the two walked in the country club was extremely well-kept with an extremely hard-working staff. The interior of the club had a huge staircase with lots of antique artwork and wood to solidify its rich aura.

Overall, the dining experience may have outweighed the food but that added to the ambience. The pair definitely recommends the Princess Anne Country Club to anyone with a large party who wants a fancier dining environment.

Heselius and Palmerton wanted to thank all the viewers who have invested in their food reviews throughout the year. Without the support of the entire Falcon Press staff, these food reviews would not be possible, and they are extremely grateful for everyone who has put in work to help make these food reviews as successful as they have been. Palmerton and Heselius will return in the fall in hopes of bringing even more food reviewing content.

Isidro: I started show choir in 5th grade, then was introduced to "choreo" in 6th grade. Throughout middle school and high school I started copying Jabbawockeez videos on YouTube but mostly dancing with my friends Chris Banaga, Aj Jimenez, and Mitch Villareal in the garage. Didn't start taking class until about 5 years ago!

Devin: I became a leader on iDK around the same time that my cousin and I created an All Male in high school. I also started up another junior team, ill Habits, with Daniel Orena and Kiko James. I was just very passionate about what I was doing and was really inspired by the fact that I was able to help people grow and be the best versions of themselves.

Dezi: Guiding the even younger generations is a big role. The older generations have done so much for my generation/dance in general, and being in between generations, we have that role to uphold and continue the work that has already been put in.

Isidro: Words are everything. What you say to people really matters and I strongly advise anyone diving into the community to just be very careful with how you approach any conversation regarding dance!

Isidro: Release my work for myself. I tend to catch myself thinking about what other people will think about certain pieces I post but I truly want to not care about that. As an artist I feel like it's important, you know?

Growing more and more in popularity, lyrical/contemporary dance is a fusion of jazz, ballet and modern. This style is expressive, and can be both subtle and dynamic. Lyrical/contemporary dance draws upon ballet and jazz techniques accompanied by music and emotion to tell a story through dance.

Hip Hop is a high energy dance form with street movements, step by step instructions, and up-beat warm-ups, and stretches. Hip Hop dances to the hottest R&B, Pop, and appropriate Hip Hop music. Hip Hop is the current rage in dance, music, videos, movies, and fashion. Funky, fun, and cool!

Tap is the oldest and most rhythmic of all dance forms. Tap builds awareness of rhythm and sounds. Basic steps and rhythms, combined with choreography provide the essentials necessary for the total Tap experience.

A Junior Chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts may be set up in any private or public middle or high school, dance studio/academy, performing arts center, or community center with an active dance program serving students grades 6-8. The institution is required to maintain an NDEO Institutional Membership for as long as the institution conducts an NHSDA Secondary Program. Schools that serve students in both 6-8 and 9-12 grades may have both a Junior and Secondary Chapter, although only one NDEO Institutional Membership is required.

A faculty member must be willing to serve as the Chapter Sponsor, but students can take leadership roles in creating and maintaining the chapter. The chapter can be set up as a an one-time honor, or as a student organization with officers, regular meetings, and planned activities. There are no NDEO membership requirements for students.

There is a one-time fee associated with Student Induction. Separate fees apply for the optional NHSDA Pins and Honor Cords. Please consult the NHSDA Junior/Secondary Program Chapter Sponsor Handbook for complete information on starting and maintaining a chapter at your institution.

Induction into the NHSDA Junior Program is earned through the accumulation of at least 15 points awarded for dance activities such as rehearsals, performances, research, workshops, or community service activities, alongside a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students should track their points and provide the Chapter Sponsor with a record of points earned through worksheets, portfolios, or other agreed-upon methods. For points earned outside of chapter activities, verification of points earned should be provided to the Chapter Sponsor through playbills, registration forms, photos, or other agreed-upon methods. The Chapter Sponsor will keep a record of points earned on file. In addition, the prospective student's demonstration of collaborative teamwork, motivation, and leadership in the many aspects of dance (e.g., choreography, performance, mentoring, production) are factors in the determination of eligibility for induction.

In the case of dance studios and other programs outside of K-12, it is recommended that students turn in a copy of their report card to their Chapter Sponsor showing their cumulative GPA. If a student is homeschooled and bases their grades on a 100 point system, each "point" of their 100 counts for .04 of the 4.0 GPA. (for example, if the student's grade is 80 out of 100, their GPA entered on the NHSDA site would be 3.2). If a student is homeschooled and does not participate in a point system, a GPA can be established by the parent writing an official letter to the Chapter Sponsor stating that their student has achieved academic excellence.

All GPA records should be maintained by the sponsor or appropriate school personnel and should be handled in a manner that respects the privacy of the student and is in compliance with FERPA regulations.

The NHSDA Junior Chapter Sponsor Handbook is a must-read for all new chapter sponsors and student officers in charge of NHSDA administration. Download and print it out to help guide you through the process. It reviews in-depth procedures for establishing and managing a chapter, tracking and awarding points and conducting recognition ceremonies as well as all pertinent forms. At USC Kaufman, you are able to pick from a variety of concentrations, and that choice informs what classes you take as you progress through your last two years. I have always wanted to dance in a contemporary company, which is why I declared dance performance as a concentration. Some other options include dance and music, choreography for stage and screen, dance and music, and even a design your own option. Your first two years are pretty structured, but as you enter your third and fourth year, it becomes a bit more individualized, and that goes for things outside of USC Kaufman as well.
