Hi.

At the daily paper http://www.information.dk we're trying to include
from other sources on our topic pages. See http://www.information.dk/person/barack-obama
for an example.

We would like to include articles from Guardian, but I would like to
know if your articles are connected to dbpedia (like ie nyt.com) as a
part of the linked data ? That would be very cool.

If not then I'll just have to use the api, which is not a big problem
when it comes to persons, because their names are the same in Danish
and English, but there is a problem with countries, continents and
subjects.

Take our page:

http://www.information.dk/verden/mellemoesten/irak

this page is connected to

http://dbpedia.org/resource/Iraq

and from there to

http://data.nytimes.com/46780987205736202241 and
http://api.nytimes.com/svc/search/v1/article?query= nytd_geo_facet:
[Iraq]

Could something similar be done with tags from the guardian, so I
could move from

http://dbpedia.org/resource/Iraq

to

http://content.guardianapis.com/search?tag=world%2Firaq&order-by=newest&format=json

Best,

We've been thinking a lot about this problem across our content, and
we have some stuff in development around it. While we work out
something more definitive, you can obviously query the API for tags
using your dbpedia query, such as:

http://explorer.content.guardianapis.com/#/tags?q=iraq&format=json

...which will return the results from several "iraq" tags, including
this one:

http://explorer.content.guardianapis.com/#/world/iraq?format=json&order-by=newest

Hope that helps.

Matt
