Access embedded Adverts?

Hi there,

I'm new to using the Guardian API. I cant see how to access embedded
Advert content? The JSON I am getting returned has the field
shouldHideAdverts: "false", but I dont see any Ad content embedded in
the article? Am I missing something, perhaps I need an additional
query to return the attached Ad content?

Hi David,

The "shouldHideAdverts" field is actually for use when content is marked as "sensitive" in our database and therefore shouldn't be displayed with advertising alongside it. You shouldn't need to worry about it at your end, as it's a (mostly!) internal thing. If you're using the free tier of the API you should have ads embedded into the content itself should you display the body text of an article.
