La palabra aguyje,
Voz sentida y armoniosa
Que refleja humanidad.
Quien pronuncia aguyje
Gracias está expresando
Más quien dice aguyjeve
Muchas gracias manifiesta
Y quien aguyjevete dice
Muchísimas gracias da
Aguyjeme’ê es gratitud
Y agradecimiento también.
Para algunos, un vacío formulismo
Pero cuando sale de alma,
Con sentimiento y emoción
Es la esencia del espíritu
Que reconoce y valora

El aguyje es especial
Pues se trata de un estado
De suprema plenitud,
De acabada perfección,
Que se logra transitando
Por la línea de armonía

Y viviendo cada día
Con amor y alegría
Con aquellos semejantes
Que llamamos anga irû.
Si pretenden comparar
Con un estado semejante,
El estado de aguyje,
Es el nirvana Guarani.
Es plenitud y es ofrenda.
Así, mientras el nativo Guarani
Colma su ser interior
De armonía y plenitud,
El Paraguayo de bien
A su prójimo ofrenda,
En señal de gratitud,
Un destello de aguyje
