Technitium MAC Address Changer allows you to change (spoof) Media Access Control (MAC) Address of your Network Interface Card (NIC) instantly. It has a very simple user interface and provides ample information regarding each NIC in the machine. Every NIC has a MAC address hard coded in its circuit by the manufacturer. This hard coded MAC address is used by windows drivers to access Ethernet Network (LAN). This tool can set a new MAC address to your NIC, bypassing the original hard coded MAC address. This software just writes a value into the windows registry. Updated Registration Certificates are optional. You may write your new address on the existing certificate. If you wish to order a new certificate and/or license plate decal, the cost is $5 for each vehicle.

Vehicle registration renewals completed through the Internet or emission inspection stations are sent to the address on record for the vehicle. The U.S. Postal Service will not forward the Registration Certificate and decal. A forwarding order with the Postal Service does not change your address with the DMV.

You are required to notify the Department of Safety and Homeland Security of any address change within 10 days of that change. This includes when you physically relocate, or your address is changed by the United States Postal Service or your local 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District.

Notifying the post office will not provide the information to the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. By failing to notify us, you could miss important information about your license renewal. The law does not require your new address to be changed on your physical license, just on our files. There is no fee to change your address in our system.

If you currently have a REAL ID, you may change your address online by uploading the required residency documents and submitting your request to change your address. Once you have successfully completed the application process and submitted the required documents, DC DMV will respond via email to inform you if your request to change your address is approved. If your request is approved, you will be directed to pay the required change of address fee. After the fee is paid, DC DMV will update your DC driver license or identification card, along with any corresponding vehicle registration.
