For disaster-recovery purposes, I need Artifactory to store data on a RAID-1 file system mounted at /srv (where MySQL datafiles are stored also). I would not prefer using blob storage, so how can I tell Artifactory to store all of its data in a directory different than the standard?
For disaster recovery we recommend to setup active/passive synchronization or active/active cluster. Also, the Artifactory backup dumps the files in the standard directory structure format and the location of the backup can be configured.
I'm trying to get an Ansible play to download all the contents from a directory in Artifactory. I'd prefer not have to list the specific files that I want to download (I just want to state the directory), so my play is dynamic. If my developers drop new files into the directory, then they will always get deployed.

I am trying to configure a docker image to run with a mounted volume, for persistence. The image is the official artifactory one. It seems odd to me that it will stop after creating several directories with a "Permission denied".

The artifactory binaries are installed in AWS EC2 instance and for DB we are using AWS RDS Postgresql engine. The connectivity and backups were working fine and no config changes were made but it stopped working for last 2 days.
Do I understand correctly that the artifact is being manually saved as a file in the /NolioAgent/artifact_store directory? If so, I do not recommend trying that. The artifact_store folder is never supposed to be manipulated for user purposes, and doing so could be risky. That folder is typically supposed to be empty, as it's used temporarily during artifact retrieval by RA. It should never, ever, be used manually.
the path in "Artifact File" is the one pointing to the internal CA RA artifact store/cache, which is the folder you've mentioned. it is used during the distribution phase to copy it from the source path to the agent. this one will be cleaned up however by the ca ra. So, to use your artifact, the first step should always be to either unzip your artifact somewhere or copy it to your real deployment folder by having a flow that loops over the collection/artifact element. this deployment folder you could then give jboss as the path.

I have tried downloading without the header using anonymous download, and that works fine.
If I add the header to try and download from that same repo, I still get an error.

Hi, seems like issue is resolved after saving the settings with URL , even though testing the URL before saving it gave me Connection failed: Error 404.
After running maven build, Artifactory was able to fetch the artifacts from Nexus Remote Repo

We have problems with teh new osgeo remote repository Repository - Nexus Repository Manager
This is also a nexus 3.x repo.
The test in Artifactory gives a 404.
The weburl of this remote repo is ok for Artifactory Index of /
But in Artifactory you get only the directory structure and not the artifacts itself.
The advice from Jfrog support was to have a virtual repo with both the url definitions.
But that is no solution for getting the right artifacts. You stil can not download for example a version directory. You have to specify the artifacts seperatly
